1. Background
In today's world, we face many pressing challenges. As the global population continues to grow and economic activities expand, issues such as resource scarcity, environmental pollution, and climate change are becoming increasingly prominent. Global sustainable development has become a core issue of shared concern worldwide and a critical pathway for the survival and advancement of humanity.
The Model United Nations Sustainable Development Conference provides young people with a platform to explore sustainable development issues in depth, enabling them to deliberate on development challenges from a global perspective and jointly devise response strategies.
Hong Kong Science Popularization and Science Fiction Academy (HKSPSF), as a supporting organisation of this event, will actively participate in and promote this youth gathering held in Shenzhen, the core city of the Greater Bay Area. HKSPSF is committed to guiding students from both Hong Kong and Shenzhen to engage with global sustainable development issues, applying scientific thinking and innovative action to address the global challenges of the future.

Preference given to those with prior Model United Nations experience;

Preference given to candidates with backgrounds in sustainable development, international relations, conference-related topics, and interdisciplinary fields;

Total capacity is set at 300 participants, selected through an application screening process.
International Youth Innovation Action Summit:
15-20 schools are invited to present their scientific and technological innovation outcomes; 5-10 high-tech enterprises/research institutions are invited to showcase SDG-related products.

5. Event Highlights and Benefits
This event features a high level of academic rigour with deep integration of government, industry, academia, and research. All delegates who complete the conference will receive an official certificate of participation, and outstanding delegates may receive certificates of honour. Delegates will have the opportunity to engage in face-to-face exchanges with experts and industry professionals, broadening their international perspectives.
Students from Hong Kong and the Mainland who are interested in international relations, science popularisation, science fiction, and sustainable development are welcome to register.
