Ordinary Member Benefits

  1. Priority participation in various public activities organised by the Centre.
  2. No voting rights, election rights, or decision-making rights at general meetings. However, members may be invited to join working groups as co-opted members, participating in work and discussions without voting rights.
  3. Individual members who wish to become directors must have been members for at least 2 years, be recommended by 3 board members, and receive a majority vote from the Standing Committee. The Standing Committee may exercise discretion based on the actual or potential contributions of associate members. The Standing Committee may also defer or reject the conversion from associate member to director. The Standing Committee has the final authority on membership approval.
  4. Freedom to join and withdraw from the Centre.
