IV. Forum Introduction
Jointly hosted by the China Association for Science and Technology and the Beijing Municipal People's Government, this conference is an important part of the Zhongguancun Forum, aimed at exploring the intersection of sci-fi and technological innovation and promoting the development of science popularization education. In order to better integrate and link the scientific and cultural resources of Hong Kong, Macau, and the mainland, a special Hong Kong and Macau session has been set up in this Science Fiction Convention. Through a series of visual, auditory, learning, and interactive experience activities, exchanges and interactions in science education and science popularization and sci-fi creation between Beijing, Hong Kong, and Macau will be promoted.
Giants of the sci-fi world Liu Cixin and Wang Jinkang, as well as scientific researchers from well-known universities such as The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, University of Macau, The University of Hong Kong, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, will gather together. In addition, members of the Hong Kong Legislative Council, youth representatives from the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau science and technology circles, heads of Beijing-Hong Kong-Macau science and technology venues, and principals of primary and secondary schools will also visit the site to conduct in-depth discussions with sci-fi writers, science and technology workers, educators, representatives of the science and technology innovation industry, and innovative thinking leaders from all over the country to look forward to the future development path of technology and sci-fi.
