Grand Opening of the 8th Shenzhen (International) Science Film Week Science Film Night
Shenzhen grandly held the 8th Shenzhen (International) Science Film Week and the 14th China International Conference of Science and Education Producers from October 28 to November 2, 2023. The theme of this event was "Culture and Science Education with One Heart, Future Light and Shadow Together", aiming to promote the high-quality development of science and education films and television, disseminate scientific knowledge, and promote international cooperation and exchange of science and education films and television through international exchanges. The event demonstrated the profound connotation and artistic charm of Chinese culture through the specially planned 100-meter long scroll of traditional Chinese painting "He Guang Tong Chen Mao Shi Tu".
Hong Kong Science Popularization and Science Fiction Academy (HKSPSF) Wins "Kelei Trophy" Best Organization Award
At the grand award ceremony of the "Kelei Trophy", many highly anticipated science popularization film and television works won awards. Science and education institutions and works in Hong Kong performed well and were highly recognized by the industry. In the professional group, former Director of the Hong Kong Observatory Shun Chi-ming and Steven Ma won the third prize with their work "Will There Be Flooding in Amber Rainstorm? (Part 1 and 2)". In the short video group, "The Multiverse of Carbon" by the Hong Kong Observatory also won the third prize. In addition, the Hong Kong Science Popularization and Science Fiction Academy (HKSPSF) won the "Kelei Trophy" Best Organization Award.
