Leveraging the advantages of basic research and improving the success rate of scientific and technological achievement transformation are the core paths for Hong Kong's development of innovation and technology. The "Hong Kong Technology Innovation Forum 2023", hosted by the Hong Kong Alliance of Technology and Innovation and sponsored by Bank of China (Hong Kong), focuses on the effective exploration of the application and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and deeply analyzes and discusses from the perspectives of universities, enterprises, scientific researchers, and social support.
The forum has specially invited Professor Freddy Boey, an expert in international biomedical engineering and President of the City University of Hong Kong, and Dr. Ricky Chiu, one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World 2022 and Chairman and CEO of Phase Scientific, to deliver keynote speeches centered on "Deep Tech Hong Kong Innovation". At the same time, it brings together six winners of the "BOCHK Science and Technology Innovation Prize 2022" to conduct a thematic discussion on "The Road from Basic Research to Application Transformation".
The forum will be held on August 25, 2023 (Friday) from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm at the Lecture Hall on the 11th floor of the Bank of China Tower. Scientific researchers, innovation and technology entrepreneurs, and technology practitioners are sincerely invited to attend and exchange ideas!
