On June 21, the team from the Science Fiction Foundation and the Hong Kong Science Popularization and Science Fiction Academy (HKSPSF) visited the Macao Science Center and the Base for Primary and Secondary Science and Technology Practice at the University of Macau, and visited the Scientist Spirit Theme Exhibition Hall and the Planetarium of the Science Center. The main goal of this trip was to conduct in-depth discussions and explorations on promoting science popularization and science fiction work in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Participants in this consultation included Mu Xinxin, Chairman of Macao Science Center Limited; Yu Hansheng, Director; Professor Tam Kam Weng, Director of the Centre for Science and Engineering Promotion of the University of Macau and Director of Macao Science Center Limited; Cheong Hung Fat, Acting Curator of the Science Center; Leong Si Chung, Director of Education and Exhibits; Shi Wenjun, Head of the Planetarium Department; Cheung Siu-yin, Head of the Public Relations Department; Cheung Hiu-ming, Secretariat; as well as Ma Guobin, Founder and Director of the Science Fiction Foundation; Chen Muqing, Secretary-General; Chelsea Chen and Li Jiaxuan of HKSPSF; Zhang Huiming, Chief Marketing Officer; and Zhang Shiying, Secretary.
During the consultation, Ma Guobin and Chelsea Chen put forward suggestions on various aspects for future cooperation respectively. These suggestions include: strengthening the exchange of science fiction cultural creativity, organizing interactive science fiction and science popularization symposiums in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area; strengthening the exchange of teenagers in the three places, holding science fiction essay competitions; holding science fiction works exhibition activities at the Macao Science Center; and increasing research and study activities in the three places during winter and summer vacations.
Mu Xinxin, Chairman of Macao Science Center Limited, shared the development history and resource advantages of the Macao Science Center, expecting that in the future, relying on the platform of the Macao Science Center, deep linkage with science fiction resources in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao can be carried out in a wider range and at a deeper level, injecting new science fiction and science popularization content into the Macao Science Center, while also helping Macao promote science popularization education and the appropriate diversification of Macao's economy.
Professor Tam Kam Weng also put forward a series of forward-looking cooperation suggestions, including deeply combining industry, academia, and research, exchanging with the local tourism industry, combining with characteristic landmarks, coordinating with the University of Macau, and strengthening cooperation with Portuguese-speaking countries.
The Science Fiction Foundation, HKSPSF, Macao Science Center, and the Base for Primary and Secondary Science and Technology Practice at the University of Macau agreed in the consultation that the future provides a solid platform for all parties to expand exchanges and strengthen cooperation in the direction of science popularization and science fiction in the Greater Bay Area, and all parties are full of expectations and confidence in future cooperation in the direction of science popularization and science fiction in the Greater Bay Area.
