To better implement the HKSAR Government's "Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Development Blueprint", and implement the release of the "Four Signings" and "One Platform" of the "25th Beijing-Hong Kong Economic Cooperation Symposium Special Activity - Beijing-Hong Kong Youth Science and Technology Innovation Promotion Plan Press Conference and Beijing-Hong Kong Youth Science and Technology Innovation Development Forum" held by the Hong Kong Beijing Association of University Alumni on December 15, 2022, the Hong Kong Beijing Association of University Alumni launched the "2023 Beijing-Hong Kong Youth Sci-Tech Innovation Talent Development Summit" during the InnoEX (Hong Kong International Innovation and Technology Expo) from April 12-15, 2023.
The opening ceremony was held at the Inno Hall of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. It was jointly hosted by the Beijing Overseas Friendship Association, the Beijing Association for Science and Technology, and the Hong Kong Beijing Association of University Alumni, and co-organized by the Beijing Yizhuang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Beijing Huairou Science City, Beijing Future Science City, Beijing Zhongguancun Science City, the Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Alliance, and the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation.
The event attracted more than 300 representatives from sci-tech innovation enterprises and financial institutions, as well as young scientists and outstanding young sci-tech innovation professionals from both Beijing and Hong Kong to conduct exchanges and business discussions, promoting in-depth cooperation in scientific and technological innovation between the two places.
